What is B2C Logistics?

A commercial transaction that takes place between a business and consumer is known as Business to Consumer or B2C. This is different from a Business to Business or B2B order fulfillment in that it caters to the customer directly.

Pricing for B2C orders is pre-set by the company with no variation and is not complex like B2B orders which are high in value and often recurring. The order size is smaller and purchases are single-hand that can be completed in a single transaction. Payments are made via credit card, debit card, cash, or cheque.

B2C orders are low-cost in comparison to B2B orders, lightweight, and sometimes come with free shipping. A single order can be shipped within a few days. In case the customer is not fully satisfied they can send the product back with its tags intact.

Customer service, marketing, product details, timely delivery are all part of customer relations. Customer satisfaction is dependent on B2B logistics providers.
